Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) was set up as a non-profit corporation in 1993 to ensure that promises made in the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA) are carried out. NTI represents the interests of over 21,000 Inuit for whom the land claim agreement was settled. NTI is responsible for advancing and protecting Inuit interests in the creation of the Nunavut Territory by assuring that the terms of the Nunavut Political Accord are respected.
